Speeches- Meilun China’s Earthquake
Posted on June 29th, 2008 at 2:03 am by studentm and
I have chose China’s Earthquake because I think it is a very interesting topic. An earthquake had damaged nearly everything. The earthquake degree was 7.9. Houses, apartments, offices and schools were knocked over by an earthquake in China. All the people who houses were knocked over had no homes. The government came to tell the students (who were still alive) that their parents had died. Now the students have no money for the school. A week after the earthquake the Chinese government announced three days of morning to remember who have died, and the country came to stand still to observe a three minutes silence with the China flag half up. There were 34,000 people who died in the earthquake. There were some lucky people who haven’t died and were saved by rescuers. I think everyone; I mean EVERYONE should donate money to the Chinese people who houses have been knocked down and some students who parents have died and now no money at all. Like me, I donated 200 China dollars.
